Sad but true, my butt is getting bigger, I have proof. Today at work I noticed my pants had a big split through them, wonderful news while at work. Luckily, I mostly sit all day so it's not too embarrassing :) Looks like I'll have to go shopping.
Jan 27th 2009 may these pants be laid to rest..... HAHA are you kidding? They are my only pair of jeans so I have to wear them till my birthday, or until I can afford to get some, they have to stick around until then :)
I hate shopping for pants, I can't ever find any that fit. Is anyone else the same way? I went shopping with Holly for her birthday & it's so easy for her :) She's little & can fit into pretty much anything (love ya Holly), me on the other hand, can barely find one decent looking pair of pants and when I do I wear them 5+ times a week which leads to tears & holes, perpetuating this vicious cycle! I would love to make my own jeans but it seems a little too risky for me. I'm sure not a perfectionist when it comes to sewing so it would be an adventure. I don't know what's more expensive, the pants or the therapy afterward? Like ice cream & chocolate, the things that make you have to buy new pants, wonderful cycle isn't it?

lol, Heidi. I feel your pain. My whole life, I've never owned more than 2 pairs of jeans... and I typically prefer one over the other and wear them out completely. Surprisingly, I don't have to wear "short" jeans (like you have to wear "long" jeans). For a short person, I have pretty long legs. But that also means I have absolutely no torso!
Have you ever tried looking at Savers? They have tons and tons of jeans to choose from (so I bet they have long cuts) and they never cost more than a couple of bucks.
Can anyone find pants that really fit them well. (At least where I shop....big box stores?)
I can think of one pair of pants that fit me perfectly. I loved them.
I am currently down to one pair of jeans, that I have to safety pin the closure on.... I keep putting off buying more because I want stuff for the house. And Michael needs pants. And we need to eat.
my fav jean pants got a hole in the crotch... not sure how that happens but it seems to always happen on my jeans... so i just went jean shopping for my bday... i was debating between 2 sizes... one was too big... the other too small.. i opted for the too big... but they're a lot too big and they fall off my non-butt... yeah...i getcha with the hard to find jeans that fit thing.
okay, Heidi you'll have to bring the sewing machine back this weekend and we'll mend your pants! I know they don't make any jeans that fit me so I don't even look any more. So, I feel your pain, too!
ohh, that is always a sad day when the pants officialy say goodbye. I hate trying on jeans too, it seems like such a long hard process!
I've glanced at Savers but I guess I get bored or frustrated easy. They do have inexpensive pants but they always seem weird looking or ugly. Oh well...I'll let you know about my shopping experience, if I dare :)
